We never saw this happen, but we know that Cad Bane helped Ziro the hutt escape and he has red eyes so that matches Trace's description. The jedi that accidentally killed their parents is probably Luminara Unduli. She has green skin and flowing robes. Luminara has always been depicted as a cold jedi. When Ahsoka and Barris were trapped underground in season 2 Luminara immediately thought they were dead and let go. It seems Luminara took the whole "no attachment" part of the jedi a little too seriously. Also in the third episode 14:03 timestamp you can see the two guys who Trace helped escape from their cell running by. Those two guys made it out. That's kind of cool.
