A Question For You All!
Added 2023-12-03 18:22:09 +0000 UTCHope all is well with you all!
Now that I am finally settling into my new place this gives me a little more time to start watching more shows/movies. Right now I have been trying to get into a nice comfortable rhythm. I dont want to do too much and then disappoint you all by not being able to get series out, which has happened in the past when I was in limbo with my living situation.
But now that my work station is stable that won't be a problem.
So my question is this, what is a series you NEED me to watch right now. Like hypothetically if I don't watch this series all the oxygen in the world would disappear (lol) Something you are desperate for me to watch!
I will read your comments and then make a poll and then wait for your votes, and that will be the series that I jump into next!
Thank you for participating.

Wish I'd been on here back when this posted, I would have said Orphan Black and The Last of Us.

2024-02-12 09:05:49 +0000 UTCBlack sails! Favorite show I’ve ever watched! The acting and screenwriting is impeccable. It being on Starz kind of hurt it’s reach unfortunately, that and Game of Thrones airing at the same time. I honestly was more excited to watch black sails then Game of Thrones each week. Still love Game of thrones though lol

2023-12-04 06:00:03 +0000 UTCThe Legend of Vox Machina or Blue Eye Samurai! Both would be pretty quick watches and they are top tier animated shows!

2023-12-03 23:51:55 +0000 UTCThe Good Place. It’s got that funny that hits the sweet spot between dark and sweet. I’d also throw in Justified (good action, funny, and great guest spots) and The Wire.

2023-12-03 21:22:39 +0000 UTCAhh, didn't mention Battlestar Galactica in my comment, but I'd absolutely love to see Imon react to that one. Can immediately think of certain characters I think she'd particularly enjoy.

2023-12-03 20:58:59 +0000 UTCWell, the finale for Attack on Titan dropped last month. If you haven't seen it yet, and if that's something you'd be interested in watching, I'd love to see your reaction.

2023-12-03 20:56:28 +0000 UTCI feel like you'd really enjoy "The Expanse", especially from a character perspective. Near-future sci-fi, Mars and the asteroid belt have been settled, Mars and Earth are separate nations, the asteroid belt is an underclass of society exploited for resources. "The Americans" is a stunningly high-quality show that is very underrated. Basic premise is undercover Russian spies in America, deep cover to the point of having had kids in America. A lot of suspense, very deliberate pace. "Dark" is one of my all-time favourites, but it's a German show (unfortunately very overlooked as a result), and I don't know how you feel about watching shows in a foreign language (not worth watching with the English dub). 3 seasons (26 episodes total), intricate plot. Centres around primarily 4 families in a German town. Constant questions and revelations make it great for reactions. (Hard to really describe the premise of this one without saying too much, or else not saying enough to really be accurate) The name does not lie though—it is *dark*, tonally speaking. Also perhaps the best casting that has ever been achieved. Will leave it at those three. Unfortunately none of them are ever very successful at polls, so I won't hold my breath, but I've at least given my piece :P I'll probably be pretty happy with whatever live-action you end up taking on. Not particularly into animation, so as long as the channel isn't full animation reactions, I'll be keeping an eye on things.

2023-12-03 19:49:56 +0000 UTCMen In Kilts - if you love Jamie Fraser (& who doesn't), you'll love seeing Sam and Graham McTavish as themselves, discovering Scotland & New Zealand. Currently there are only 2 seasons, 1st with 8 episodes and 2nd with only 4 (shot during Pandemic) and they are only 30 minutes long so easy Peezy. They are lots of fun to watch!!
