Claire agreed to remain Frank's wife. She should honor that agreement and love Frank as a husband, not a brother.
Frank is great. Apparently inherited the kind nature of Mary Hawkins and Alex Randall.

The title of this episode “Surrender” certainly does have different meanings. Jamie surrendered to the Redcoats to protect his family while Claire is surrendering to the life she now has even though a life with Frank is not the life she wants.
Sam actually trained with an archer, a butcher and a fish monger for this episode to make his “caveman” existence appear more realistic.

This episode was a sad one, the whole series is sad, but sometimes there are those moments, like the way Jamie looks at Claire, that love they have for each other, it's not always perfect, nothing is, but at least they had each other once.
Poor Fergus, what that guy did to him, how much more pain must a boy his age have to endure. The hate that soldier had for him, for himself, no hesitation in doing what he did and just leaving him there to die, thankfully Jamie was there for him, but now he's gone.
You can see why Jamie gave himself up to the redcoats, to keep Fergus and his family safe. Six years alone without the woman he loves, without Claire what else is there, he's crazy about her.
The way he loves her can best be described by Anthony Hopkins from the movie Meet Joe Black, where he says to his daughter.
"Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. I say, fall head over heels, find someone you can love like crazy and who will love you the same way back. How do you find him? Well, you forget your head, and you listen to your heart. And I'm not hearing any heart. Cause the truth is, there's no sense living your life without this, to make the journey and not fall deeply in love, well, you haven't lived a life at all. But you have to try, cause if you haven't tried, you haven't lived."
I love watching this series with you, that scene where Jamie was intimate with that woman for the first time in six years and you said "All he knows is Claire, and her body, and her wants, and her needs." I love the things you say, the way you see things. You're beautiful Imon, always. <3

Yep, I think that's the first time Frank and Claire made love after she returned. But she's thinking about Jamie. That's the husband she misses, not Frank. Poor Frank!
