Jon Favreau was the writer and director of the first two Ironman movies, and was in those movies as Ironman's driver/bodyguard "Happy Hogan." It was Jon Favreau that pushed for Robert Downey Jr. getting the Ironman role. Jon Favreau's friendship with Robert Downey is very heartwarming. He basically helped restart Robert Downey's career after his drug troubles. Anyway Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni (the head writer of the Clone Wars and also involved in Avatar:the last airbender) are the head guys behind the Mandalorian TV series. So some of the best stuff to come out of star wars tv comes from Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau's writing.

2023-05-06 04:00:21 +0000 UTCI won't say Much about that Particular Weapon because it's explained more later on & in future shows but it's known as the "Darksaber" which is a significant weapon with a lot of history to the Mandalorians and it's the only one of it's kind.
