It’s a very positive outlook and I like that. I guess we will never know unless they show us. But I love that we can make up our own conclusion on what has happened to him

Considering they took him when he was one it's most likely they raised him up as a warrior and like gardar said he probably wouldn't even remember his parents. At least gardar got to reunite with his family to some extent before death.
