So many tears were shed and my heart was broken but it was sewed back together by witnessing the truelove between Claire and Jamie. I adore this show so much and this episode was an amazing ride!

Jaime really loves Claire, but he also immediately believes her because he knew she came from a place that was "easier" and he knows that place just doesn't exist. How she just appeared out of nowhere, how she had no real answer as to why she was there, how she acts, the strange phrases she uses, how she doesn't really understand 18th century culture, her advanced medical knowledge, her attitude itself. So when she explains this all, I think he's quite relieved that she isn't completely insane, she's just from another time!
