I couldn’t believe he was seriously spanking her at first for doing something wrong. It caught me so off guard hahah! But it just brings up an interesting perspective. Like you said how different things were 200 years ago!

I love how he points out "You come from a place where things are...easier, I think", because she doesn't seem to understand how drastically awful it is to disobey orders, because it's not just a husband ordering a wife, they're basically a militia at the moment, for lack of a better term, and need to follow orders to keep everyone safe.
