I felt conflicted and also challenged in some of my beliefs and that is all I can ask for on top of having a great story line and awesome characters. 2023-02-17 02:30:00 +0000 UTCJedi are peace keepers, but they've also lost there way. Peace Keepers shouldn't be taking sides in a war. The jedi should be a neutral third party working with both sides to create peace, but they're political now and forced into being generals in a war. Child soldiers wasn't by choice the senate made the Jedi do it, because they were losing so many. Plenty of jedi are killed by the droids or the battle droids, but in this show we tend to follow the best jedi and ones we already know the fate of.

2023-02-17 00:50:21 +0000 UTCThere's no shortage of good star wars books out there, but if you're interested in reading some star wars books, I'd actually recommend the new publishing initiative they have called the High Republic. It's set about 100-150 years before Episode 1 with the jedi and the Republic in their "golden age" so there's no war and we get to see how the jedi and republic are in times of peace and no war. They really get into the force, jedi and attachments, etc.

2023-02-16 21:16:45 +0000 UTCStar Wars loves bringing up ethical questions, philosophies, etc. There is a lot of war in the clone WARS :) but that's what really brings in a lot of the morality, especially when talking about clones and "neutral" parties. In a galaxy at war, how long can people really try to be independent and neutral?
