Vinland Saga 2x6 FULL REACTION (To Take Out Old Roots, We Need a Helping hand)

I loved this episode, I like The Old Master, Mr. Sverkel. I love the scene when Einar and Thorfinn are chopping firewood and the track "Farming" is playing. Einar thinks because they're slaves Mr. Sverkel might be making them work for free. He said "He's totally taking advantage of us." Mr. Sverkel hears him and says "I don't care about your status. This is a contract. I will lend you a horse and in exchange you will do my chores both when you borrow it and when you bring it back." I like how Mr. Sverkel doesn't just make them help him, but instead they help each other. They all have work to do, but they can't do it alone. I like what you said about Einar asking for the horse. You said that if Thorfinn was still alone he wouldn't have asked, he would never have thought he could do that because he's never had that example to stand up for himself, but with Einar there he has that. I love the scene with the plow when Thorfinn says "I imagine it's difficult to cultivate the land by hand using a hoe." He then looks at the plow and says "What an amazing invention. This must have been invented by a farmer. You must know the hardships of farming in order to make something like this." I like when they all eat together, it was nice how no one was treated different or made to feel unwanted. I like what Mr. Sverkel said "It is foolish to buy peace with money. What is the point of owning a farm that is too big for a farmer to protect. Too much wealth brings forth disaster. When you increase your wealth you fear losing it. To deal with that fear you use money. Then you try to earn more." I love the scene when Thorfinn and Einar are walking back and Thorfinn says "I feel like I learned a lot of things today." He then looks back at the fields and for the first time he seems hopeful. I love your title of this episode "To Take Out Old Roots, We Need a Helping Hand." I also love what you said in the video "A rooted stump needs many helping hands, you can't do it alone." As always Imon it's been a pleasure. You're beautiful, always. <3

This is why I always appreciate your reactions. With shows( especially anime) I tend to be pretty surface level but your thoughts always make me look at them from a different point of view.
