2022-12-06 18:32:57 +0000 UTCOne thing I noticed in the intro is that snail/slug makima is feeding denji. Apparently that's a real thing where a snail can be taken over by a certain parasite and when it's in there it makes it's eye stalks flash that rainbowish color similar to how a caterpillar looks to attract prey that will eat the snail and the parasite. All so the parasite can reproduce and feed off of the bird host. I'm guessing it's trying to imply makima is a parasite that uses people to get what she wants and when she's done with them just lets them die or kills them. A theory anyway.
