I'd honestly recommend the 2003 Clone Wars over the 2008, it serves its purpose well in bridging episodes 2 and 3 whereas TCW is a whole sprawling series on its own. But by this point I imagine Imon has finished her Star Wars saga.

2022-09-15 02:00:37 +0000 UTCYeah that was indeed a young Rose Byrne, and Joel Edgerton playing Owen Lars, Anakin's step brother. As for ages Anakin is 19 and Padme is 24 in this movie. Also the cartoon series "The Clone Wars" takes place between this film and episode 3. It's a great series though season 1 is a definitely the weakest to get through. If you don't plan on reacting to it you might enjoy watching it with your family on your own. It's very good and somewhat kid friendly though it gets more mature in later seasons. Now, since you mentioned "Primal", Genndy Tartakovsky also animated a clone wars cartoon in 2003 which you could watch in like a day because it's so short. Not to be confused with the 2008 clone wars series.
