You are right, the mom has a neck brace from the car accident, a lot of people don't notice it because it sort of blend with her sweater. One of the little ghost girl was the twin sister, if you see the moment when the two circus ladies open the drawer with the candies, there are dates above each of the jars. Those are believed to be the dates of the three children's disapearances. You are also right to focus on the well, there are a lot of theories about what it could actually be/represent. The cat and Wybie are my favorites I think. I love everything about this movie, the insane animation, aesthetics, music and the voice acting (Tery Hatcher as the other mother is great!). Btw the book is more intense and freaky. Neil Gaiman is something else. Nice reaction
