The actor who plays Darth Maul is Ray Park, a martial arts expert. He was Toad from X-men. They dubbed his voice though with a different actor, Peter Serafinowicz. I guess they thought Serafinowicz had a scarier voice. Also an important thing to understand about the bad guys "The Trade Federation" is that they are essentially a mega corporation/company that is so powerful that they can invade planets. Finally I think a common view of the prequels some 20 years on is that the overall story is good, but the dialogue is poorly written.

2022-08-30 22:06:29 +0000 UTCThe Jar Jar Binks character was created because George Lucas was a big fan of Goofy, and he wanted to create Star Wars version of Goofy. Once people hated the character he pretty much dropped him from the franchise except one scene in Episode II.
