Demons? Wot demons? No demons in SPN, nothing to see here, move it along! Seriously though, SPN will consistently take its own spin on various myths or folklore. That was its initial mission statement (although it developed over the years). So when SPN has ‘demons’, they’re not necessarily the beings you might have thought of. Just as they had their own take on the Wendigo and how to deal with ghosts etc. And the next story (which you’ve already seen now) is their version of the Reaper. They take bits and pieces of lore, stitch them together, and add their own flavouring. So you can’t always assume, just from the label, that it links to whatever terminology and meaning you grew up with. I’m not sure if that makes any sense, but I hope so!

Sam & Dean work so well as a team but I did like they we got to see them seperate and they found out stuff on both their ends and Dean even apologized for being in the wrong
