Now we're really getting into it. The whole show is fun, but to me this will always be the best season. Non-stop wacky ride.

It beautifully wraps up the season long running plot of Pierce being at odds with the study group and finally has him be friends with them again. The opening song is also a response to the network’s complaints that the show has become too crazy, to which Dan Harmon doubled down and did this musical number. Also, the dream sequence is a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey. I’m glad you enjoyed this episode. You’re in for an amazing ride with this season. It’s arguably the best one.
