Here we go with week 3 of these weekly mental health updates/check-ins. How's everyone been doing this week?
Anyone care to share some fun life updates? Any hardships you feel comfortable sharing? I hope you are all doing alright.
I wanted to share with you all what I wrote yesterday when I was in a good headspace. I hope someone finds it helpful <3
"In this moment, I am rich.
I have my health, my mind is stable today. And there is peace in my heart.
My children are healthy, happy and LOVED.
It is a joy being able to spend time with them, especially when I am in a more clear-headed space.
Maybe we will watch a movie.
(We ended up watching Sea Beast it was SO GOOD)
Maybe we will read a book before bed (We finished the Little Prince, and it made me cry)
Maybe we will have a conversation about all the different countries and which one is the biggest! Sora is very much into geography and studying maps!
Loki my cat is here, he cuddles and comforts us.
We are lucky.
My boyfriend is playing Tarkov with his older brother online, I heard him laughing and talking with him. His laughter filled the whole garage and filled my heart with joy

I wanted to share something positive because life is positive for me sometimes. My mind is usually a storm of chaos, and when I find that the storm has finally broke, I try to catch as much sun as possible until I await the next storm. So I cherish these days immensely and hope as my healing process continues there will be less stormy days and a lot more sunshine. But until then I will still hold on just like Truman at the end of the Truman Show.
Weather the storms in your life, they do not last forever, and cherish the breaks of sunlight because they too don't last forever.
