As a fellow '90 baby I know what you meant, cuz sometimes do that too, so it made me laugh a little <3 But on a more serious note, this is the 3rd time I'm watching this episode, and the part where he gives Steven control cuz he can't deal with his mom's passing always gets me. Idk if any of us are ever "ready" for our parents' passing, but this can be a reminder to try our best not to let any unresolved issues stay that way.

2022-05-16 01:09:49 +0000 UTCYeah this was a very well done episode. As someone who isn't an expert when it comes to mental illnesses I personally think it's illustrated well here. Having so much pain and trauma that your brain can just block it out for you by creating a different persona who isn't aware of it. Yo shoutout to the brain. The real ride or die. On a side note, crazy that a mom could call their child a disgusting human. As if he physically held him underwater and drowned him. Makes me think she never really loved him if she could turn him on that fast. Oh in the words of uncle. One more thing. I like the idea of only going to paradise if you find peace within yourself. So many people die with regrets and uncertainty and just simply don't accept what their life became, but it's good thought to center yourself and have that inner conversation with yourself no matter how tough it is.
