It's interesting, I took the dad's apology as more of a "sorry for whatever it is I did that made you such a condescending asshole and a screw up," but I guess that could be my own pessimism. I definitely cried during the "what happens when you die" conversation.

Also this show is so interesting to watch as someone who isn't religious at all but I do appreciate that they're showing all sides of religious people. The people who blindly follow their faith, the people who won't accept another religion, and the person who no matter what crazy thing is happening it must be god's will. Man oh man is bev something else lol
