One thing I always loved is how Diavolo's stand is basically the embodiment of running away from your own fate. Diavolo spent his whole life knowing what happens next and avoiding his demise. He thought his whole life he was the king chosen by fate but the gang were the first people to threaten him. A theme in the part is that if you live everyday righteosly and take the harder path then there is a chance you ever so slightly change fate. The right way to change fate. Diavolo perverted fate where as the gang embraced their fate head on. The final nail in the coffin for Diavolo is when the arrow chooses Giorno as the true champion of fate, someone who suffered through his fate as a Brando and a Joestar his whole life, to punish Diavolo the one who ran from his fate his whole life.

The stone falling and being smashed made it so Bucciarati was the one to investigate what happened to Luca and meet Giorno, since Mista and Fugo got hurt, so instead of dying to being donuted by King Crimson, Giorno helped him survive for just a little longer and ensure his dream of taking down the boss was achieved.

I know you guys will probably go straight to Stone Ocean after this, but I want to request that you guys should check the Rohan OVA's eventually ^_^ there's 4 in total and focuses on everybody's favourite fashionable Rohan Kishibe.
