Idk what ya'll are talking about. This is in my top 5 TV episodes of all time. Sure, it's not 100% perfect, but it's about as good as you're gonna see these days. Absolutely masterful.

Like they had to put SO much thought into how to do the cinematography of 3x5, if they put that much thought into the script of this episode I'm sure it could be easy to do. My issue is all the scenes of the other characters just silently walking around without much to do, and the situations where they would speak if not for the gimmick of the episode That being said, the cinematography of this episode is great. That fucking spinning shot down the stairwell and those zooming shots in public as Elliot is running everywhere. It really feels like every single frame of Mr Robot could be a wallpaper

2021-12-25 14:50:46 +0000 UTCSurprised you didn't notice but there's no dialogue in this episode except for the very beginning and the very end: Darlene: "It's cool dude, we don't have to talk" Vera: "It's time we talked" Personally I preferred S3 Episode 5's gimmick of being one-take and found that the no speaking in this episode made for some awkward moments where it's so clear the characters should be talking but can't bc of the script lol (Tho I might be overreacting since you didnt notice it so maybe it doesn't seem weird), but I do like Darlene and Elliot not talking because it shows how in sync they are when they're working together on a mission, they don't even need words to communicate
