2021-12-13 04:17:00 +0000 UTCThe time skip ability did not make things fall in front of the bullets. Diavolo was using Epitaph along with the time skip to see the trajectory of the bullets and position himself in a place where he would not get hit.

It doesn't help that part 5 has the weakest ending and just really uncreative methods of resolution; it's all over the place. I firmly believe Araki basically clears the table and starts thinking from a very fresh ground starting from part 6 on (and reaches his peak in part 7) Anyway, I think Imon and Abbi will love part 6 because it has the most part 3 energy!

2021-12-08 13:32:17 +0000 UTCI'm going to be honest, I never really liked the Chariot Requiem fight. The Cronenberg transformation power came out of nowhere and made no sense, plus it didn't even really affect the plot at all. The method to defeat it makes absolutely zero sense. I am all for Jojo brand bizarreness, but even this was a huge leap. Even the fictional links they tried to make made no sense, and it came from nothing and was over in 10 seconds. This is sort of why I didn't like Part 5 as much. So many major characters and fights are heavily impacted by random plot holes based entirely on convenience. Even now, GIorno's powers are a big amorphous blob of possibilities because he keeps changing what he can do. He insists he has no control over the life he creates, but why did that mole go grab the gun part and come back to him? Why does King Crimson's time skip ability make things fall right in front of the bullets? I don't know...all of my annoyances for Part 5 are in full effect for this episode.
