Nerd Chronic here. We apologize for the delay on this one. As you can see in the background, Imon has moved homes. This contributed to the delay for this one as she was finishing setting up this weekend. You may even notice that the set isn't exactly 100% ready but they were able to get the reaction recorded.
Everything is settled now and there shouldn't be any further interruptions. Thank you for the patience.

2022-01-01 16:56:27 +0000 UTCAt this point in the show all that is known is that there is only one personality other than Elliott himself and it's Mr. Robot, possibly another one besides that but we don't know anything about it yet. It's not yet clear what the board room scene is and whether it's in Elliot's head or not, and we certainly don't know what Elliott's mother and his young self represent yet either. We can speculate, of course, but that's exactly what Imon & Abi are doing - speculating and theorising, as any first time watcher would. And part of the fun is watching them do that, even if they are completely wrong. Explaining to them what they are wrong about using references from future episodes, however, is not fun at all. In fact, it does more harm than good 100% of the time. It messes with their expectations and their experience gets irreversibly tainted. So, to summarize, yes, hrcaffee's comment is a spoiler, albeit a mild one, but a spoiler nonetheless. P.S. To avoid such mild spoilers, one should always ask themselves before posting a comment under a reaction video: 'Does anything I say here contain information that will only be revealed in later episodes but I'm aware of it because I've already seen the entire show?'. And unless the answer is a definitive 'no' it would be a better idea not to post anything at all.

2021-12-07 11:22:36 +0000 UTCAwesome, :) thank you ya the board room became a sort of "mental palace" location for the personalities, so kid Elliot, and Mom entities refer to Slater as Mr. Robot, ect. Also "she looks like MaryyCherry" :D

Also, remember that Mr. Robot isn't really Elliot's father, as in it isn't his father talking to him. It's Elliot talking to himself as a mental projection of a father figure, someone there to shield him from harm and protect him--someone to take the beatings, to stand up to others when Elliot can't. That's Mr. Robot's role in Elliot's mind.
