The manga has the answers. And it takes a while to get to that part (Kisaki’s true intentions). What I love about the story, is that we see various characters talk about what they believe motivated Kisaki (I.e. Future Draken saying it was because of an obsession with Mikey)- but only Kisaki truly knows why he does what he does. It’s giving Littlefinger vibes.

2021-11-18 18:50:38 +0000 UTCI think Kisaki has the same "powers" as Takemichi or at the very least is aware of Takemichi's "powers". It seems like every time Takemichi tries to change the past it only benefits Kisaki , plus the way he looked at Takemichi when he was named the 3rd Division leader. There's definitely something more going on then Kisaki just being smart and clever. Maybe that's why Kisaki keeps killing Hinata because he knows Takemichi will go back into the past to try and change things and the things Takemichi are changing end up helping Kisaki in the long run.
