2021-11-17 07:37:38 +0000 UTCYou gals have no idea, this show will blow your minds! Community is unparalleled, you are not prepared. Oh, and thank you for the Double Drop! Yeah, Community came first, then Rick And Morty, and as the show goes on you'll find many more parallels between Community and Rick And Morty. Rick And Morty even has an episode where the show itself, Community, makes a cameo of sorts, but this time it's more like CommUNITY, haha xD, it happens during Rick And Morty S02E03 "Auto Erotic Assimilation" and I found it to be quite funny as a fan that has seen all of Community, since there were quite a few inside jokes in there. Also, many of the actors that starred in Community would later be called to guest star in Rick And Morty, it's not as easy to perceive since they are only lending their voices to animated characters, but if you watched Community first and really got familiarized with the actors in it and then watched Rick And Morty you would probably pick up on most of them. And finally, the quote: "Annie's pretty young. We try not to sexualize her." has kind of become an inside joke for Community fans, you'll soon come to understand exactly why, I'm sure.
