Bill Burr had a standup bit about this actually, how as guys we've been conditioned to this preconceived notion of the hyper masculinity that women exclusively desire and yet David Bowie and Prince have probably both been with more women than every man in the U.S. combined lol

2021-10-27 09:11:24 +0000 UTCI know for a lot of guys in the black community they never received that type of loving affection from like a dad or uncle so seeing it when you're older you see it as homosexual. It's a weird double standard. You see women kissing little girls on the cheeks and forehead and stuff all the time but usually when a guy does it to a little boy it's either homosexual or pedo. Which I get but it has completely changed things for how guys interact with other men and boys all together.
