This is a pretty extreme case though. If I recall correctly there are cases of people who change so dramatically their eyeglass prescription changes, in some cases even by a difference of 4 diopters! This means a -9.00 could go as far as -5.00 or -13.00 depending on personality which is really wild if you know eyes.
