Absolute travesty. BoJack got it right about what a farce awards shows are.

This is such a bittersweet but very hopeful ending. And I think it’s a perfect way to conclude such an amazing show. Bojack and Diane acknowledging that, while their friendship did help them both over the past few years, it’s also somewhat toxic. I think that was the perfect way to end it because their friendship was what started the show and has been the most prominent relationship in the show.

I like to think that Diane’s books are gonna get the Percy Jackson treatment. You know, receive an awful movie adaptation. Then the fans will be mad for years until another company announces that they’ll make a faithful adaptation with Diane as a producer. Lol

I find it sad but meaningful that the show started with Bojack's "first time" meeting Diane (that he remembers at least) and the show ends with what might be the last time they ever talk. But I think whatever happens they are both in pretty good places. I like them just sitting together at the end. It's the kind of friendship where sometimes you don't need to talk. Sometimes just hanging out is nice. It doesn't feel like a total ending either because it really isn't. Life goes on again the next day. It's like Diane said. Sometimes life's a bitch and then you keep living.

Right after this show ended, Raphael Bob-Waksberg published a book of short stories called "Someone Who Will Love You In All Your Damaged Glory." I read it after I finished Bojack for the first time, and it was a great way to keep the party going (even though none of the stories take place in this exact world.)

I love Bojack, but I have to say that watching your reactions has helped me a lot. I am at a better place mentally than maybe ever and part of that is how reflective I've been watching these. Thank you for being so honest.
