The story of recovery in this episode is powerful. I'm glad they showed how religion can be a positive community for people looking to recover and move on from their mistakes and trauma. Bojack really transformed into a more natural and honest version of himself in this episode and its great to see. Brings more meaning to Ruthie ripping the narcissist painting of him watching himself treading water What Todd said about a baby being perfect and how its crazy to think someone could've seen you that way is a thought that can send people with traumatic childhoods spinning. Love how they introduced Maude randomly but told us a decent amount about who she is. Bojack being the one to introduce her to the app to end up meeting Todd without needing any credit for it is very redeeming to see after all Todd has supported him through and their ups and downs. Its great to see Diane push past her fear of how antidepressants will influence her and look much happier. Welcome to the anti Honeydew side Imon! Sorry Abi, but hey that just means more for you.
