yeah man thanks. With enough clues you will most likely able to come conclusions that are possible.

Oh also by the way if you ladies didn't get the vague hint at the end of the post credit scene. Basically the mauler twins posted rumors online in order to find the gravesite of the guardians so they can collect a body. So someone knew the location and took the bait.

*Spoilers!! If you are watching with us for the first time and don’t know what happens in the end please DO NOT READ.
I get that. Honestly this reminds me of Marks fight at the end with his dad and their “use” of power. Obviously he wasn’t going to win but he need to save people distracted him from the fight. A reason I’m sure OM forced him into the city. OM says you’ll be powerful if you don’t act like a human pretty much. Forget helping the weak. Im sure Mark is capable to win and Eve even more could but their flaw is their humanity but it could also be their saving grace. The Immortal showed a vast difference on his powers when he was revived. He did more damage to Omni that battle then when he worked with the guardians. Anger and/or the will for vengeance make people do extraordinary things . Eve needs to find the happy balance of giving it all she’s got, like to avenge someone, but before that person dies. Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho had this problem a lot in YYH lol they are powerful enough to win but don’t use that power until something life changing happens. Lol sorry for the ramble! Hope that made sense ✌🏾

To clarify the Titan and Isotope thing, it was just a double cross. Isotope decided to ultimately side with and work under Titan instead of Machine Head.

Y'all getting angry at mark for hesitating is such a legit and funny response lol but really if my best friend seems like they're even somewhat in danger than it's a guaranteed fuck this weird ass relationship

^ What he said. Applies to all shows, movies, comics, etc. They’re as strong or weak as the writers want them to be 😂

I believe those are all 100% valid points and awesome topics of discussion. And there might have been some confusion on my part as well. My initial reaction to your comment was because it was nothing like what you just said. Your first comment came off as a statement "This is how the character is, this is what she is thinking", thats why i say it comes off as some one who has read the comic, which is why maybe you shouldnt share it to those who haven't. To respond to your other comment, We don't know she can do "anything to anyone" as she wants. We haven't seen her affect any other humanoid or "living" creature. If she could, even if she didn't want to kill any of the Flaxans she then could have just turned all their weapons into water or dildos but she didn't. That's the joy of speculating and discussing of what could be for those that don't know. Her mindset and powers are what make her interesting. Before this convo continues can I just have you read the comics? Also if it does continue, I'm enjoying our talk, I'm not saying your wrong and I didn't intend to come off heated as might have seemed, like I said in my first reply it's not like you gave major spoilers like who lives or who dies but if you are some one who has read the comic, it can spoil that initial minutia sense of discovery especially in terms of character.

The problem is as simple as the writers nerf and buff her when need be. Nothing more, nothing less....

Also as of episode six we know she has the ability to change molecular structure. The implications (ring a bell?) is that she could do that to anything or anyone. Do you need to see it happen for the implication of it to be a thing?

The reason I gave is a reason provided by the show already as for the other reasons I won’t get into, they are more my thoughts on her as a character as opposed to facts provided already, which is why I wasn’t going to get into them. I think shes going through a crisis of conscience and is a bit stressed out. I have nothing to support that other than her failed romance and desire to do something else with her powers besides punch people. Not a lot to discuss there. The thing that has greater potential for conversation is how she’s using her powers. Why she’s not simply going into every fight and laying down the law as she sees fit. That’s the thing I wanted to focus on. Perhaps I failed in my phrasing. Regardless her raw power versus the way she uses that power suggests she’s coming from a very “good guys don’t kill” approach to me. That’s what I’m getting at. Apologies for any confusion.

Ok fair enough and I wasn't trying to say or implicate "how dare you ruin the show". But based on your comment I am going to go on the assumption that you've read the comic. And going on that assumption, as some one who hasn't read the comics it comes off as you are giving insight into a character that hasn't been provided. Again because you use the term "I won't get into it" it implies you're using information that hasn't been provided yet. Or else why would you say that? As of Ep6 we don't know she can "turn people into ice cream", we don't know the levels of struggles she's dealing with what she can or shouldn't do with her powers. Again I'm just saying you're giving insight and foreshadowing to a character that may have been hinted or alluded to but have yet to discover or seen for ourselves.

Sorry just figured out that to reply to you I have to reply to myself. Weird that. Anyway, she already said she can change things in a molecular level. I didn’t spoil anything about that. I was speaking about how she uses her powers. So far she has shown a strong desire to do good. She’s even stated she would rather be helping people than doing the regular super hero stuff. She’s too nice. What about that is unclear or in anyway a spoiler? It’s information we already have.

Do you think it’s some moral code that she wouldn’t use her power on a living thing and also wether or not Omni-man has viltrimite DNA he still made up of matter and has molecular structure in other world she is a goddess or deity to him

@Chris the I won’t get into it was not about her power level, which she has displayed. It’s about the way she uses her powers. She’s already explained she can change matter on a molecular level. I was speaking to her use so far only.

I'll just say dude, if you've read the comic that's kind of a spoiler. A lot of the fun is the speculation of what these characters are capable of doing, especially with this show. Saying "I wont get into it" is basically the same as saying "I've read the comic, she's super powerful, just you wait" is not different then telling us what she does without giving exact specifics. Providing information and insight about a character and their motivation that isn't presented in the show as seen is yeah spoiler. It would be like telling some one who just watched one episode of lost and being like "dont worry they all end up in a happy place" you wouldn't be giving specifics but you're still ruining the parts of the show by giving foresight that hasn't been explained in the show yet.

Maybe she haven’t fully understood her powers after all both of her parents don’t have powers and unlike Mark she didn’t have a mentor and I’m using that word very loosely to train her or tell her the full extent of her powers she’s had to figure everything’s out for herself in other words all she can do is get stronger

2021-08-05 03:48:41 +0000 UTC
Theoretically she might be capable of that. But just like an atomic bomb would obliterate a single tree to the point where there was no organic material left, the same blast would do basically nothing to Omniman because of Viltrumite DNA. Also she might only be able to affect that with a less molecular structure. Yes she was able to grow trees and crops at a rapid pace but at the same time, when she fought the Flaxans we never saw her manipulate their DNA structure or anything. Eve to me is kind of like Magneto, his powers are fairly simple to understand, he can control metals through magnetism. When you actually delve into and comprehend the magnitude (no pun intended) of what that power is truly capable it's frightening. Eve is by far my favorite character in the show, not just because shes awesome and voiced by Gillian Jacobs but I'm really interested in where they go with her powers and what she's able to do. Again as a non comic reader I hope she has a lot more screen time in S2.
Chris

Eve is basically a walking talking Reality stone. She could turn her enemies into ice cream if she wanted to. The problem isn’t her raw power, it’s her mind. For various reasons I won’t get into but the main one is that she thinks like a hero and is not ruthless enough to do what her powers suggest she should be able to do. Mark has the same problem. A big part of having powers in comics is how you choose to use those powers. Eve is simply too nice.

Yeah I my thought exactly but I’m wondering if she could it without him noticing until it was too late, also I just remembered she grew trees so she can also control organic matter. Usually for power scaling people with her powers could only control inorganic. I wonder if she used her power to alter the tree by giving it the necessary nutrients it needed and speed up the process or reverted the to a state where it was healthy in the past which both means she can control aging of matter so she could turn Omni-man into a baby without powers teach him right or wrong or just curb stomp the little fucker to death

Could she do it quicker then Omniman could fly to her and simply snap her neck or punch through her skull? Would Eves plan even work? Even if you filled Omnimans lungs with Magma and cooled it, would it kill him? He can survive in deep space, Adult Bobby said they've tried everything and Viltrumite DNA is virtually indestructible. As non comic readers me and my room mate have had several (mostly intoxicated) discussions on Eves power levels and both agree she as it stands right now is the most likely able "kill" Omniman. But it would have to be under the most extremely perfect circumstances. We've seen Omniman is capable of creating atomic levels of destruction in just the wake of his flight and speed alone. Not knowing Eves full extent, maybe if she could affect Omniman at a moleculare level she could defeat him, but again I think it would take a guardians + invincible type of distraction for her to be able to pull it off.
Chris

I feel if eve wanted she could fill Omni-mans lung with magma then liquid nitrogen to cool it the mixture will depend if she want it quick or painful
