BoJack Horseman 5x9 FULL REACTION

BoJack Horseman 5x9 FULL REACTION

It's insecurity and fear of making yourself vulnerable. You want someone else to put themselves out there to repair the breach so you don't have to stick your neck out. I think it was a very human thing to do. It's not confined to women.

Steelburgh

He is not bullshitting Hollyhock, he is bullshitting himself.

Natural selection, mothafucka

To be fair, when PC said that she was wasted and in a crisis. You can't take what people tell you in that state seriously. Ralph is smart enough that he should have looked at the context.

Women really want you to be able to read their mind haha

Bojack isnt controlling his alcohol intake. At the start of the season he has one bottle for every week. In this episode he has one bottle for every day. He is totally bullshitting Holly.

I really don't like women who do what carolyn did. The whole "I said I wanted you to leave but I didn't mean it so why didn't you stay?" is nonsense to me. I get that yeah if you've been dating someone long enough you should just know what they really feel/want in that moment but at the same time they should be able to say that. Upset or not if she wanted him to say he should've just said that instead of putting it on him to interpret what she really wanted. Because many men in my opinion could easily take that as ok she seems like she needs space so I'll give it to her instead of ok no she really doesn't want me to go so I won't leave. ehhhh

This is the one episode of season 5 that I feel like is slightly less awesome than the rest of the season. Season 5 is my favorite season because almost every single episode it very memorable and distinct, they each have their own *thing*, whether it be the flashback halloween party, Free Churro, the therapists making up weird fake characters the whole episode, and so on. Season 5 uses the episodic structure incredibly to make it all part of one excellently paced overarching narrative, keeping you in suspense for what part of the story will come next by jumping around from episode to episode, like how after Diane gets the Bojack tape, we don't see it again for another 2 whole episodes since we follow completely separate parts of the story those 2 episodes. Each episode has a distinct style and concept, except for this one. This one feels more like a normal Bojack episode, where things happen and the plot progresses across the board. Doesn't make it less interesting or not a good episode, but that's why it kind of disappoints me relative to the rest of season 5.

Yeah there are several types of asexuals. They can be “sex-positive,” “sex-indifferent,” or “sex-repulsed.” Todd is sex-repulsed, and he doesn’t have to have sex to know that he doesn’t want it. I’m glad this show brought up how there are multiple types of asexuals. It really does have some of the best representation of asexuality I’ve ever seen in media.

Love can be painful, i think this episode showed that in lots of different ways. The sex robot showed it the best. Becareful with the candle wax and playing with fire when things are heating up. It was really great seeing Hollyhock. Its sad that Beatrice's last impression on her was causing trauma. Its also too bad Bojack wasted her whole trip trying to find his fix. Ralph's position really sucks but I admire how he keeps a good attitude through it all and accepts things as they are now. I disagree but sympathize with him fighting to get back together and co-parent with PC especially after she said she wished he did before. A lot of times we don't really know or understand what we truly want but I still think its safest to hold people by their word. You aren't obligated to be anyone's mind reader. I understand how you both feel about sometimes showing you care and insisting works; but I think Ralph should value himself enough to not stick around hoping PC might decide to give him another chance.. I recently tried the 'checking in and expressing you still care' thing you suggested through email since my phone number is blocked. Got a text saying she misses me and loves me on the 4th and then blocked again right after...... so.. I guess the gesture can be appreciated even if its doesn't just fix everything.

Henry Fondle, is like the joke that keeps on giving just thinking about Todd's mindset and creative process is amazing--For me at least. Favorite side character second only to Mr. Mannowdog.
