2021-05-24 04:43:04 +0000 UTCHere's the update regarding Black Clover. So episode 170 aired on March 30. The Only reason the anime stopped is because it caught up to the manga like very close. After ep 170 The manga was only like 10-15 chapters ahead which is only 3-4 episodes. So the anime studio decided instead of making another filler arc to just take a break while Black Clover creator/author continues the story in the manga. So when the current Spade Kingdom Siege Arc in the manga is finished( its absolutely insane btw) the anime will return probably in another 2-3 years when the manga is far ahead. So while the anime is on break it was announced a Black Clover movie is in the making for early next year in theaters. Hope this update helps

I'm hearing they're aiming for an early 2022 release. If all goes well, that probably means the show will return in 2023. I'll be happy if it returns—great reactions as always, ladies.

You can support and buy the manga if you want, but its absolutely not the case that if you don't the anime won't return. It was announced by Chrunchyroll that Black Clover is the #1 most watched anime in 87 countries Worldwide, so Black clover is very popular around the world

I remember you ladies last episode saying you have too buy the manga too support the show and no that’s not true nothing is wrong with black clovers popularity from #4 tv Tokyo and #1 on Crunchyroll most streamed too now getting in the top 10 manga weekly sales black clover is getting better everyday. The issue was the anime had only 3 episodes left of manga content and they did not want too take the filler route. Black clover did announce a movie I believe that is what that person who commented meant was too go and support by watching the movie.
