Its absolutely heartbreaking but she keeps on moving forward and prefers to do so on her own rather then allowing others who love her to support her. Its sad how that can push people away "Its Fake." "Yeah well, it makes me feel better." This not only relates to Ruthie but the family heirloom necklace she still holds onto and has pride in. The story and pride passed down to her with that necklace is still real to her even after finding out its just costume jewlery from J.C. Penny. There's a fan theory that the necklace is likely made of lead which wearing on you all the time like she does can cause lead poisoning; which has been linked to miss carrie underwood... i mean miscarriages. If its true her beloved family heirloom is the thing causing her to not have a family then that would be tragically ironic. Though on the other hand her mom used to wear it and she had 12 kittens.

2021-05-13 12:09:30 +0000 UTCEpisodes like this are really neat on rewatch. It’s similar to Bojack’s Stupid POS episode. Ruthie is like extra insight into the way PC thinks about herself. It lets us know how important it is for Princess Caroline to be strong and pick herself up. And the other parts are like her negative outcomes of enforcing that idea instead of allowing herself to appear ‘weak’ or be vulnerable with these people who really wanted to support her.

2021-05-13 06:25:18 +0000 UTCThis episode is so hard to watch, it feels unnecessarily cruel. But this is where princess Carolyn really hones in on what she wants and what it means to her. As hard as that is, I'm glad she realized before it was too late.
