The Legend of Korra 4x4 - "The Calling" Full REACTION!!

I had the same experience as Abi, my sister is 3 years older than me and we fought all the time until college. Once we found our own niches we got along. The breakdown and discussion was wonderful. Y'all picked up on the same things when I saw it the first time. I really appreciate TLOK for showing these sides of humanity, especially in a more adult tone. I also think it was interesting, because most shows don't flat out state that the villains were somewhat right, at least in ideology. "Korra is real in you!" facts.

I loved y'alls discussion afta the episode. Korra makes me soo proud throughout this series. Aang is cool& all but I relate to Korra on many levels. She's 1of my true heroes, her struggles are deep &personal to me. As someone who's had trama that Im still battling with I luv that TLOK has shown me there are ways to move forward& Ill always be grateful for these lessons. Im soo glad I found this channel, Imon & Abi are incredibly smart, real with it, beautiful ladies. The breakdowns of the episodes are my fav part of each one. Thank u🙌🏾💞

This was a fun and important (finding the avatar) story that gave the kids some well deserved screen time! Glad it was more of an Ikki based plot because while Jinora and Milo have fleshed out their characters more she was suffering a bit from middle child syndrome. All three have different characteristics of Aang. Jinora is smart and focused on their Airbending culture; Ikki is kind and has his heart; and Milo is mischievous and funny. Never seen Aang Draw like that though! Way better then Sokka's drawings. I'm glad Korra was able to face her past traumas, accept them and move forward. It meant a lot to her to see the kids again and hear that the world needs her again. She isn't replaceable or completely forgotten, especially not by those who love her. Really loved the discussions in this. The kids / siblings talk at the beginning was very fitting for this episode. Watching Bojack and Lok in a row definitely can give a lot of cathartic therapy. You both absolutely help people and brighten our lives by sharing yourselves with us and the experiences from these shows. Its honestly a highlight of my week and something to look forward too.

Really am right there with Imon in how much I relate to Korra. As much as I adore Last Airbender, I think Legend of Korra hits that much more as an adult, just because the themes around overcoming yourself and past traumas are just so very relatable.
