It is an OP power tbh, that thing can kill you if you’re not a fire bender and even then, i dont think every fire bender can lightning bend in this show, I believe.

But thats why i love so much about legend of Korra, You cant just assume 1 person can do it all ( because thats never realistic)...best season finales i remember from Aang were i believe in book2 and 3. absolute masterpieces

2021-04-02 15:49:45 +0000 UTCNow you see why people say Season 3 is their favorite season. That finale was some of the best work this series has done, even rivaling stuff we got with Aang. One aspect you didn't touch on is the abuse Korra goes through and how the series ends with her not being the hero, but an abuse victim. This girl has went through so much in a matter of three seasons: Lost her powers multiple times, betrayal, robbed of her connection to the other avatars, death of others, etc. Trust me, those undertones will show up in Season 4.

It's so beautiful and heartbreaking to contrast the celebration for Jinora's tattoos, while showing the heavy turmoil that Korra's experiencing as well. It might be the music hitting too hard, but I always tear up a bit during this ending.
