She's been around since the "Metal Clan" as a guard in the background and a dancer with Su, she was on the newspaper in "Old Wounds," she was the only guard that reported to Su in the "Terror Within," and she's the one who pulled Zaheer away from his group during the battle in that same episode.

I like ATLA better but that’s only because I think the characters are much better overall in the original, however in Korra I personally like the different themes of each season, the villains, and Korra’s development as a character; the two shows aren’t as far apart as people like to make it seem

ATLA is absolutely better lmfao. Better characters, better story, better messages, better world building. Only better thing in Korra is the fights (imo and i know even that is hotly debated) and animation. But Korra is still good though.

As the comment above says- it’s definitely the journey that’s superior. We know that it’s no fault of LoK though because of them having to do a stand-alone season each time. Not to mention nostalgia plays a big part. People grew up with ATLA. LoK is darker, explores more themes and is a better show, but nostalgia and Korra hate overrides that for some people.

i think its mostly people liking the journey a little more and its not korra fault at all because of how the seasons were produced. I feel like aangs story had a bit more direction so it had less plot holes (and by no means am i saying it was perfect) but korra does have plot holes between the seasons because of them not getting cleared for all 4 seasons right off the bat.

It makes since that Bolin can lava-bend. His family is comprised of earth and fire benders, and lava-bending would be a subset of that. Regarding Kuvira: she has actually been in multiple episodes. She has been the earth bender that put up the best fight each time they fought Zaheer. This is the first time she has been named.
