MODEL UPDATE VIDEO!!! I got it working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!


It's been a while since last time I posted, so let me recap the last month:

I've been doing my exam project, and it has gone really well! It was a group project where we made a VRchat world, so if you haven't checked it out yet, please do! More info in this tweet. I definitely learned a lot in this project, to the point where I see a lot more errors in my new model now than before lol, but that's ok! It's really cool that I can see progress so fast! As soon as it was done I had a short little break, but not really lol.
I started working on the luvoratory cover again, and I'm going all in on the animation, idk why because I hate After Effects hhhhhh, but I gotta learn!!!!!!
I also started working on an adventure kit for sketchfab's challenge, and it's icebear and icebell themed! I'm making a backpack with gadgets inspired by totally spies, but with an ice cream twist instead. Very excited about this, I loveeeee making stuff like that! Also, ofc, I started on my model again!!!!!!!!!!

The last couple of days I've been really focused on finishing up my model to the point where I can use it, and I think it's ok at this point! My problem with it was that I had to convert it from FBX to VRM to be able to use it in Vseeface, my tracking program. When I tried to convert it, it would twist my model around for some reason, and I couldn't export it normally. The solution was to create the skeleton all over again, which was painful, but at least it worked!!!! I've also tried to work on blendshapes and fixing them. They're not perfect, but at least they work better now. Next step is making blendshapes with different textures to make cool cartoony faces. I also did the weightpainting and all that painful stuff over again hhhhhhhh. BUT IT WORKS!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!

One of the reasons I wanted it done, at least by the end of this month, is because next month is ice cream month, and I wanna do cool things! I realize that there's 3 days until july now, and I don't really have a solid plan yet, but I was thinking I could make a summer outfit, and also do more covers this month! Hopefully I get luvoratory finished so I can post it next month along with lots of other covers!!! I've barely done any covers this year, so I feel I gotta step up my singing game.  I'm still recovering from tonsillitis I got two weeks ago, but I'm gonna do what I can!
