same question to you @Lance Isaac bc maybe im forgetting a scene lol yall got me 2nd guessing now :P where were levi or kenny awakened (and thus had dormant instincts and powers awakened that were not there before aka they got exponentially stronger suddenly) by erwin or uri?

Jay rellim

@MojoJojoGojo the point is by Eren's claim, an awakened Ackerman is forced to serve their host (bc the condition to unlocking is tied to the host), and they experience sudden headaches if their "true self" tries to resist. both levi and kenny mentioned this unlocked/awakened situation which confirms it's a thing. but who was the one to unlock them? i dont think levi somehow got unlocked offscreen trying to protect or serve erwin same with kenny/uri. also if the headaches are supposed to be from not following the king/host, how did mikasa get headaches from non eren situations? the point im making is that when you really look at it, it seems like a bunch of truths (yes ackermans all have this awakened moment) mixed with lies (the other ackermans dont seem to have this sense of obligation to some mistaken eldian king that unlocked them). do yall think erwin unlocked levi and uri unlocked kenny? if so, when?

Jay rellim

Levi and Kenny wouldn't have experienced headaches cause they followed Erwin and Uri without question. But yeah I agree they believed eren so quickly on that lol

MojoJojoGojo

btw i know tone over text is so hard to get through but just to make it explicit: im really loving all of these reactions (and i assume all patreon subscribers agree)! idk if you even think im being negative but just in case lol i might comment on why i disagree with your conclusions sometimes but it's just that <3 i heard yall mention ppl are gonna be mad no matter what and that made me sad! f the haters and enjoy the show

hmmm there is a difference between being trained to fight and kill and the energy surge that mikasa felt in s1 which levi also said he and kenny both felt at one point (i believe he mentioned it in season 3??) who the hell was kenny protecting that his instincts somehow mistook the person as an eldian king (and yet even if that somehow happened - he was still able to try and kill the actual founding titan/eldian king) lol

Jay rellim

To that Levi point, he grew up in life where all he did was fight and kill. Not to mention, he also was trained by Kenny.😅. The protect thing would be further explained later tho.

Lance Isaac

also damn they just said they still believe the falco vision thing is a major clue and not a meta joke >_> which honestly makes sense but ugh that's why i hate that they added that in the anime when it wasnt in the manga

The Ackermans aren’t just slaves that follow orders, their instinct might cause a strong bond to a specific person but that’s it. Mikasa’s never “obeyed” Eren, in fact she’s even put him in check a few times in the past. Not to mention the fact that she’s made it clear she doesn’t agree with him slaughtering innocent people. The King went around trying to kill off the Ackermans because they opposed him and because he couldn’t control them. They absolutely have their own free will. Plus Mikasa’s gotten headaches for reasons that don’t involve Eren before (like when her adopted family was killed, when Armin almost died, etc.). Even the most recent one could be boiled down to just emotional turmoil when she recalled that disturbing memory of Eren that she once viewed in a positive light. I think Eren used the headaches as a way to trick Mikasa into believing he has reason to hate her. And the Armin/Bertholdt thing also doesn’t make sense because Armin never became hostile to Paradis after eating Bertholdt. I think it’s clear that the only influence a shifter has over the inheritor is their memories (excluding the royal bloodline of course). And Eren claiming that he “always hated Mikasa” is the biggest red flag of all because it’s so obviously not true it doesn’t even require critical thinking to debunk. Anyway, those are the main reasons why I believe he’s lying about all of it. Whatever he’s really planning, he must not want Mikasa or Armin involved. He’s definitely pushing them away on purpose.

dang yall really believed eren at face value :o i feel like there are so many inconsistencies with what he said. why is he not influenced by the warhammer titan that he ate? why was levi awakened before he met erwin or eren? how did levi and kenny mention the intense power up they got (similar to mikasa) but neither of them mentioned headaches? how was eren eldia's king when he was a kid when he didnt have the attack or the founding titan (this one someone can argue that mikasa's instincts were somehow mistaken but doesnt explain why this wasnt mentioned by levi or kenny at all)? i see yall kinda second guessing it towards the end lol trust your instincts bc yall def remember all the major stuff in the show!

Jay rellim

It’s funny your reaction to thinking Levi was screwed was my reaction to the Eren-Armin-Mikasa fight lol life is pain with this show 😭
