I believe life continuing on in alternate universes after Subaru dies is just something Echidna came up with as a possibility to torture Subaru with for his trial. It's not confirmed whether its true or not but one of the reasons Subaru still resolved to try restarting less is in case it is true

Personally i think the reason she didn't want Emilia to look at her face is because Emilia finally saw her own face for the first time in a long time in the last trial when she saw her face in the water's reflection, so i think now Emilia might be able to recognise her mother based n that, since they'd look similar. Facial structure wise, they DO look kinda similar. There's defo something up there.

The great thing about that is, you can transition right into My Hero Academia and then Demon Slayer in the Fall. =) That should hold us over until Re: Zero Season 3. Also, a few things to keep in mind with the snow scene. Emilia could either be returning in the future OR -- she's still in the trial. None of us know exactly what's happening with her and the show is keeping it that way to, as you said, fuck with us. Btw, are we not going to talk about how Minerva might be Emilia's mom? :/ Or am I the only person who caught that?

2021-03-16 21:39:10 +0000 UTCAt the end Elsa actually stopped healing after Garfiel and her bit each other. It's hard to see but I think Garfiel's wounds healed instead. So I guess any vampire powers she had transferred to him. I'm guessing the guy Elsa killed in her story was also a vampire (maybe?) which is where she got it from in the first place?
