They do really step up this game with the character development and their acting is top notch. If you think this episode made you emotional ,you got more to see, and you'll love it. The last kingdom will always be one of the best viking era show WITHOUT A DOUBT. The books are amazing too

2021-02-20 06:09:52 +0000 UTCI think this episode shows that while some of the characters may be angry with others but they still care like with Brida or Alfred being angry with Uhtred Alfred thinks of him as a friend at the very least but he cant look weak so he must act the way he does and it has made him mad and even petty which he starts to realize which is why he talks to Beocca. Brida for all that has happened with Ragnar she may be angry with him for not being their but Uhtred is still important to her if not family.
