@Sherry What? I am not an LN reader and I haven't confirmed anything in any of my comments, I don't know what made you think any of that, lol. The other people in this thread are the ones potentially confirming things, the OP did not say he was theorizing he said it as if it's a fact and then shot down their theorizing. I never said what they were saying was wrong, I'm saying they don't know for sure and they're talking as if they're confirming things they know because they've read ahead -- I don't know if they have and that's the point. The OP didn't say "I don't think Emilia is a witch", he said "Emilia is not a witch".

Emilia is using the term in her own way to show she's grown past it. If anything, you're the one spoiling by suggesting that their theory is wrong because you're a LN reader. Theorising is fine but as you put it 'confirming negatives can be even worse spoilers than confirming facts' lmao. Aren't you the one confirming something?

It's fine to say you THINK all of these things are the case, but you do not know any of this is true unless you've seen ahead and are spoiling. Nothing so far in the series contradicts their theorizing that the OP is complaining about. These comments are exactly why they do not read comments, people spoil things without even realizing it. Also... so far in the show no one has called her a witch's daughter, they have called her a witch.

Nothing has said that Emilia is not a witch, we don't even really know what a "witch" is in this world especially after these episodes. It's also pure speculation (or spoiler) that Echidna wasn't both insulting her and alluding to her being a witch at the same time. All of this is perfectly valid theorizing, confirming negatives can be even worse spoilers than confirming facts.
