I think it ties back to Diane sharing her view that we are only our actions. AND when he does that and is sober he's a good guy! Sigh. Thank you for the thoughtful commentary!

The traditional style hotel door was a small hint as was the crazy commercial Mr. PeanutButter appeared in. Bojack was faced with being responsible for the baby Seahorse despite being uncomfortable with it at first; much like the apology to Kelsey. Happy to see he was able to resist repeating his mistake with Herb Kazzaz onto her; even if it didn't work. Great reaction and discussion! I'm glad to hear despite Bojack's disfunctions and flaws you both are rooting for him to be a better horseman.

2021-01-14 06:48:47 +0000 UTCThink it's really stellar writing that the seahorse baby in this episode has a considerable resemblance to the fictional daughter we saw him create in his head in season 1 when he was thinking about his possible life with Charlotte (The deer). Amazing bit of character writing to say there was almost 0 dialouge in this episode
