These two men, A King and a Warrior are the most dynamic figures of this time and despite their reluctance to rely on each other, they are intrinsically linked. 2021-01-01 17:08:55 +0000 UTCThere's a doing transpiring in these last episodes Ladies. Erik falling in love with Aethelflaed is a bright spot amongst the all the muck and mire this season. I knew you too would get a kick out of that. Aethelred getting knocked out and dumped in the pigsty is enjoyable, seeing the smarmy turd get taken down a peg. Siegfrid exacts a large sum for Aethelflaed's release but it may all ultimately be for naught. As Aethelflaed is looking to escape with Erik, she does march to the beat of her drum. Life with a handsome Dane Earl is far better than the wife of a weaselly Mercian Lord who schemes against your dad. Only question now is how will Uhtred help them, as he can never turn from helping a beautiful woman.
