Probably trying to realign with the show so they can do parts 1&2 of the fights in the same week

i understand the exhaustion, i was beyond done with the villain of the week formula when reaching the climax of part 3, at the same time i was still enjoying it, its conflicting. i also understand the manga is really old so it aint refined like other modern mangas

the ending of part 3 will make you appreciate the journey more, I think. that's how it was for me.

Also mariah getting crushed like that is a friendly reminder that they fuck people up on this show!

Yeah after this part it doesn't really follow the villain of the week style so I think y'all will probably enjoy part 4 and 5 much more. One thing I do like about this part is that there's a lot of humor and joseph's engrish makes everything better lol.

Yea i fully understand how you feel about the stand battle of the week. Araki was writing this back in the early 90s and he did not yet realize the golden potential he had with stand abilities (the ability do do anything). Although, after the next arch with shadow man there, the episodes will feel more dramatic as we are nearing the end of our journey. Near the end of the part you can truly tell araki finally understood what he could do with stands as this last trek will be amazing. Although the last arc before that point (shadow dude) is quite.... disturbing.
