The intro is definitely a lie lol has to be. Keep in mind that during that scene when yuuji is sitting down with junpei, the scene kind of shifts into a cursed scene that we can't see what happens so that might've been an indicator. Also remember yuuji and sukuna did form a pact but yuuji can't remember it because he lost the fight, but yeah I hope there is possibly someway to save junpei but I think he's legit dead. " That doctor lady said there's no way and mahito said essentially if he does a rough transfiguration of someone they'll die fast so who knows!
