I really love the discussions y'all have at the end of each bojack episode. I'm that 1 person who sticks to the end but man so much to comment on this episode. Bojacks comment on how do people wake up everyday and just live is something i struggle with often especially when I'm having a dark day but like the monkey says it gets easier but you have to keep doing it everyday. The problem here is bojack seems like the type of person who wouldn't be able to do it everyday simply because he's so broken but who knows. Also can I say i hate guys like rutabaga. The ones that make women feel like they have to settle for a guy simply because of their age or whats going on in their life. Dude literally has some weird ass, complicated marriage while having the nerve to expect carolyn to still want to be with him and then has the balls to basically insult her and say she'll never do better than him. Really irks me. I will say though this is what I really loved about this series. Yeah there are jokes and fun times but it truly is a dark comedy. It shows the dark side of being an actor, being married, being a working woman while also trying to have a life, etc. There's little happy moments here and there but the show ultimately shows you the struggles of life as a whole and that it's not easy no matter what point you are in your life.

I'm not entirely attached to the idea and it's not fully formed, but I feel like relationships have become increasingly commodified. Like everyone is looking for the perfect product to make the ideal American life instead of looking for a person. Of course, there is a grey area and I know everyone doesn't do this, however, it seems to be becoming normalized. There are several teenagers that work for me and listening to this one woman talk can be heartbreaking sometimes. She'll say things like 'I've been single for so long now. It's boring' and she seems more interested in the status of being in a relationship than actually being in a relationship. Anyway, it is always great to hear your conversations about this sort of stuff. Very on-board with the mindset. A minor spoiler so delete it if you want: At some point, a functional relationship appears in the show.

I'm glad you guys kept noticing The Monkey; it really did pay off. "It gets easier, but you have to do it everyday" such a great quote and the truth for any kind of recovery, as well as exercise. Really proud of P.C. for standing up for herself, she deserves a lot better. Diane admitting Cordovia was hard is a good first step of being honest wwith Mr. PB. Mr. PB is a better man then me when it comes to forgiveness; i'd be too insecure of being made a fool of. Swallowing your pride and moving forward positively can be a better route though.
