2020-12-02 14:34:58 +0000 UTCThe one in the intro is Junpei but I can't say anything else without spoiling the shit out of you guys, and he didn't do that to them, Mahito did that for him. Okay, I always love how nanami flips the "you're just a kid" trope on it's head because normally it's used as a deterrent to make the character feel weak and feel the need to throw themself into danger to prove the "adult" wrong, but nanami doesn't say it because he thinks kids are less capable than adults, he just blatantly values child lives over his own because that's what being an adult is. Seeing things go out of fashion, enjoying things no one knows anymore, missing your favorite resturant with questionable health codes and how it went out of business... and making the hard sacrifices so the kids can live and grow. Nanami's a good character because he's intelligient and strong, and he takes responsibility of those weaker. He wants to protect Yuuji because he wants to protect Yuuji's childhood.
