No spoilers in this though -Waver is using some type of spell to alter the memories of that couple so that they see him as their grandchild. -The church is helping the tohsaka's win the grail. -Kariya's dad comments on him surviving a whole year dealing with the worms so possibly it's been a year by the end of the episode. Also his servant will be corrupted by madness. -Sakura was given to the matous to become a master for the holy grail war since kariya decided to not be apart of that world. -Since imon brought it up, the red haired kid in stay/night was also called emiya but you'll get info on that later. -Also an important one is that the servants are usually legendary, well known figures from the past so I believe in some cases you can get the same servant from a previous war but I think that's not usually the case.

I absolutely love Zero, not so much the rest of the crazy ass Fate timeline/multiverse show but I will admit that's totally coming from a normie to the whole Fate universe. But that being said Zero is truly an amazing anime. lol you guys probably got a new President and started Fate/Zero in the same week. If I was American, that would be a pretty damn good week :)

2020-11-06 04:42:47 +0000 UTCYou probably already know but to just give some clarification on where Fate/Zero sits in the "timeline" of the Fate series, you can look it as a prequel. Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works is more or less after this. I am glad you are watching Zero first :). I love the Fate series and it can be pretty confusing when it comes to it as a whole because there is so much of it.
