Aside from being pretty unnoteworthy this isn't exactly true. Only the second half of part 3 was adapted in the 90's as a short OVA series. A prequel OVA series with the first half of part 3 was made in the early 00's and a part 1 movie was made in the late 00's, but the latter was received badly and lost to time as it never got a release outside of theaters. Part 2 has never been adapted before David Production's attempt and it is impossible to see the old part 1 movie.

Its important to note if you don't know already that the JoJo's Bizarre Adventures Parts 1-3 (Part 1- Jonathan/ Part 2- Joseph/ and Part 3- Jotaro) were already made into an anime back in the 90's. They decided to do a Reboot Adaptation in 2012 and start from scratch (Which is the anime you're watching now). You wont get to the new stuff until part 4, which is the next part after Jotaro

These episodes really set the tone for the rest of the season. The entire gang has less sense than young Joseph alone. Lisa Lisa get married then we never hear about her again. She could technically still be alive. Joseph is old because he stopped practicing Hamon.
