I love that you brought up codependency, that's exactly what I got out of that flashback bookended by Kim's behavior and decision at the end of the episode. She just *can't* give him up. Her solution is to go all-in. Though from a legal perspective, they would both have spousal privilege being married, but this is about more than that. Kim is a very intriguing enigma.

I don't care for awards but Rhea Seehorn should be universally praised for this episode alone. She showed so much range here and it was my favorite performance for any actor. It's terrible that these awards are merely just popularity contests.
