Loving someone romantically and wanting to help them in any way possible even though that person is completely into someone else. It's a horrible feeling and I'm sure even harder to push through and still decide to help them. Subaru is definitely an ass for the run away thing as if he would've been truly happy there. He would've probably ended up thinking about emilia everyday had they do that.

At least he was honest about it . And the issue of being selfish, yes, it's true but, counting all the trauma of being ruthlessly murdered for months, i can give him a pass .

Also congratulations for containing yourself to the "I loveEmilia" scene (i expected a Ging level scream ) xD I think you can easily understand how this became a meme and why Rem is such a beloved character she's literally the perfect character lol.. Also what's even more sad about this is that Subaru's plan wouldn't even have worked ^^' If he doesn't hhelp Emilia then she dies and if she dies Pack destroys the world so moving to another country isn't really helpfull ^^'
